What trade buyers ask us most often. If your question is not answered here, WhatsApp us - we would rather answer it properly than guess at it in writing.
- Do you sell to the public, or only to businesses?
- Both, but wholesale is the business: about ninety-five percent of what we bake is supplied to other businesses, and roughly five percent is sold retail. Our public sites are counters you can walk into, and each one publishes its own address and opening hours on this site.
- Is there a minimum order?
- There is a minimum per product and per pack size, and it is counted in packs rather than in pieces. For almost everything we publish that minimum is one pack. Where a product asks for more, the quantity box on its page already starts at that number, and an order below it is refused rather than quietly rounded up.
- How are your prices quoted?
- Per pack, in Indonesian rupiah. There are no quantity breaks to negotiate: the price per piece falls as the pack gets bigger, and every product page carries its full pack ladder - each pack we sell, how many pieces it holds, and the price per pack and per piece. Prices agreed with a particular customer are quoted back to that customer once they are signed in.
- Do your prices include PPN?
- No. Every price published on this site is net and excludes PPN. PPN is added once to the order and appears as its own line on the basket and on the invoice, so the net figure and the tax can always be read separately.
- Do your products come frozen, and how long do they keep?
- It depends on the product, and both facts are printed on every product page: whether that item is frozen or dry, and how many days it keeps. Most of our range is frozen, and the dry goods keep considerably longer. Check the product page rather than assuming from the category.
- Do you bake gluten-free and vegan products?
- Yes. We run a dedicated gluten-free line and a vegan line alongside the everyday baking, on the same wholesale terms, so a kitchen can answer a dietary request without going to a second supplier. Both are published in the catalogue with the rest of the range.
- Is NICO Boulangerie halal certified?
- Yes. The company holds halal certification for its bakery products under certificate ID52210022546630525, issued by BPJPH - Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Produk Halal, based on decree MUI-LPPOM-27200007540525 of the Indonesian Ulema Council. If you need a copy of the certificate for your own records, ask us and we will send it.
- How do I open a trade account?
- Register on this site and click the link in the activation email we send you. There is no application to review and no waiting for approval - once the account is activated you can sign in and place an order. If you want a delivery address on the account, add it and we will check the location before the first delivery goes to it; until then you can order for collection.
- Can I order without an account?
- You can browse the whole catalogue and fill a basket without signing in, and that basket is kept when you do sign in. Placing the order needs an account, because prices are agreed per customer and an order has to be placed by somebody. WhatsApp is the alternative if you would rather not use the site.
- What are your payment terms?
- A new account starts on advance payment: the order is created and held until it is paid, and you can pay online through Midtrans or by bank transfer. Other terms exist and are agreed with us per customer rather than chosen at checkout - talk to us about what suits your business and we will set it on your account.
- How far ahead do I need to order?
- An order placed through this site is scheduled for the following day by default, which is the shortest lead time we quote. For a large order, a recurring one, or a specific delivery day, talk to us first so we can plan the production around it.
- Where do you deliver?
- Across Lombok, Bali and the Gili Islands, and to Jakarta. Delivery is organised by zone, and the zone decides which of our sites serves it - on our own vehicles, or through a courier where that suits the route better. Tell us where you are and we will confirm the zone and what delivery to it involves.
- Can I collect instead of having the order delivered?
- Yes, and collection is what an order through this site is set to unless you choose delivery. You can collect from any of our public sites, including the production bakery in Batu Layar. Each one publishes its own address and opening hours.
